Terms of Service
Last updated: October 14, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Tugce Ventures LLC, a California company based in Irvine ("TapaTap", "we", "us"), for the use of TapaTap: our stands and cards, the links on tapatap.link, the dashboard at app.tapatap.app, and related services. By creating an account, claiming a stand or using TapaTap, you agree to these Terms, our Review Solicitation Policy, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy.
1. Who may use TapaTap
TapaTap is a service for businesses. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into contracts. If you use TapaTap for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it, and "you" includes that business.
2. What TapaTap does
Each TapaTap stand or card carries one short link on our domain (tapatap.link) in its chip and QR code. When someone taps or scans it, we send them to the page you choose, such as your Google review page, Google Maps, Instagram, your website or your menu, or we show your TapaTap profile page. Your dashboard lets you manage your links, profile page, team and plan, and shows statistics about taps.
We keep control of the tapatap.link domain and of how links are routed, so that stands keep working when you change your destinations. We may update the technology behind TapaTap at any time.
3. Your account
- Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password and verification codes secret. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including what your team members do. Tell us at once at [email protected] if you think your account is at risk.
- You can add team members and remove them at any time.
4. Stands, claiming and transfers
- Gift stands: a stand we or our dealer give you for free is yours to keep, with no strings attached. We will never send you an invoice for it.
- Claiming: you claim a stand with the one-time claim code in its letter. A claim code works once; if you did not receive one, contact us.
- Transfers: if your business changes owner, the current owner can create a one-time transfer code in the dashboard. When the new owner uses it, the previous owner and team lose access.
- Dealers: if you got your stand from one of our authorized dealers, the dealer is an independent business that may help you with TapaTap and can see your business's account and statistics. Your agreement for TapaTap itself is with us.
5. Plans
- Trial: each newly claimed business gets 30 days of Pro. No payment method is required and you will not be charged when the trial ends.
- Free plan: after the trial, your stand keeps working on the Free plan: one destination, up to one destination change per month, basic tap counts, and, where shown, a short TapaTap page before your link.
- Pro Annual: billed when you subscribe and then automatically every 12 months at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Dashboard → Subscription → Cancel subscription; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current year and there are no further charges. We email a reminder before each renewal and tell you in advance if the renewal price changes.
- Pro 3-Year: a one-time payment covering 36 months. It does not renew automatically and you will not be charged again. We email you before it ends.
- Business and other plans: when we offer them, their terms are shown before you buy.
- Prices and taxes: prices are shown before you pay and are in US dollars. Taxes are added where they apply. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- When a paid plan ends: your stand moves to the Free plan. A profile page falls back to a single destination (your Google review page), and we keep your profile settings for 12 months in case you upgrade again.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
6. AI features
Some dashboard features use artificial intelligence, for example drafting a reply to a review.
- AI features use credits. Pro and Business plans may include a monthly number of credits that does not carry over to the next month; trial and free credits we grant, and credits you buy, stay in your account until you use them. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and end when your account is closed.
- AI results can be inaccurate. Review every result before you use it; you are responsible for what you publish.
- Do not use AI features to write reviews, to impersonate customers, or for anything our Review Solicitation Policy prohibits.
- The content you submit is processed by the AI provider we use for the feature, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- point a stand to anything unlawful, deceptive, harmful or unsafe, including malware, phishing, or content that infringes others' rights;
- ask for reviews in ways our Review Solicitation Policy prohibits, including review gating, incentives for reviews, or fake reviews;
- impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your connection with Google, Yelp or another platform;
- resell TapaTap, or present it as your own service, without a dealer agreement with us;
- interfere with TapaTap, probe or overload it, or access it in ways other than the interfaces we provide.
Destinations must be on our list of allowed websites, or on a website you have verified, and must pass our safety checks. We may refuse a destination, or suspend a link or stand that breaks these Terms or puts visitors at risk.
8. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you add to TapaTap, such as your logo, links and profile details. You give us permission to host, copy, display and process that content to provide TapaTap to you and to the people who tap your stands. You confirm that you have the right to use that content.
9. Our rights
TapaTap, its software, design and brand belong to us and our licensors. These Terms do not give you any right to them except to use TapaTap as described here. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.
10. Other services
TapaTap sends visitors to services run by others, such as Google, Yelp and Instagram, and uses providers such as Stripe and Google. We do not control those services and are not responsible for them; their own terms apply.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using TapaTap at any time, and you can cancel a paid plan as described in section 5. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, puts others at risk or is used unlawfully, and we will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it. If we ever discontinue TapaTap, we will give you reasonable advance notice.
12. Disclaimers
TapaTap is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running and secure, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not promise any particular number of taps, reviews or results, or how platforms such as Google rank your business. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, TapaTap will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about TapaTap is limited to the amount you paid us for TapaTap in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify TapaTap against claims by third parties arising from your content, your destinations, the way you ask for reviews, or your breach of these Terms or the law.
15. Reviews about TapaTap
Nothing in these Terms limits your right to share your honest opinion about TapaTap, including in reviews.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new date and, for significant changes, email account holders before they take effect. If you keep using TapaTap after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply. Changes do not affect a paid period you already bought.
17. Law and disputes
California law governs these Terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be decided by the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.
18. General
These Terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us about TapaTap. If a part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of TapaTap. If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it.
